Description
The knife features a Wharncliffe 14c28n Stainless steel blade hardened to 59-60 HRC with a 10 degrees per side Scandinavian grind. It has a simple straitforward design, comfortable ergonomics and lend it self well to woodworking, piercing and drawcuts. 14c28n is a tough and well balanced Swedish knife steel that is easy to sharpen and take a wicked edge. Note, as the knife comes with a quite aggressive edge geometry be careful with that edge. The knife has pretty good edge stability as is, but if you plan to use the knife hard you may want to add a secondary edge of around 17 degrees per side or more for increased edge stability.
